Possible side effects from captopril may include:
A dry, persistent cough
Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away:
headache
mild dizziness or lightheadedness
fatigue
dry, tickling cough
anxiety or depression
numbness or tingling in the hands, feet, arms or legs
upset stomach
taste disturbances
a rash
Moreover, if you experience any of the following symptoms, call your doctor immediately:
an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing, closing of the throat, swelling of the lips, tongue, or face, or hives)
difficulty breathing
little or no urine
an irregular heartbeat or changes in your heartbeat
chest pain
severe dizziness or fainting
signs of an infection including a sore throat or a fever
